 The Richmond Park Preparatory School has been in existence for 60 years, having been started in or around 1956, but was registered with the Ministry of Education in 1976.


The school has an enviable record of academic achievement, as evidenced by the consistently excellent results in the national exams – 100% Mastery in Grade 4 Literacy & Numeracy in 2015
over 87% placement in traditional high schools in 2016. The school was ranked among the top 15 Preparatory schools in a survey done by Educate Jamaica in 2013
