Description:To manage the operations of the College geared at facilitating the education of students in an environment that is conducive to learning, while ensuring adherence to the policies, and procedures of the Ministry of Education (MOE), TCJ, CCCJ, UCJ, MOF and JBTE.Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Plans, organizes, directs, controls and implements the educational and operational programmes of the College
• Develops and implements the College’s Strategic Plan in collaboration with the Board of Management, Staff and other stakeholders, and ensures that it is aligned with the legal, financial and organizational goals of the College
• Ensures that the College’s goals and objectives are in keeping with the policies of the MOE
• Develops and implements schedules, strategies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of the College’s financial resources to implement its plans and programmes
• Promotes a positive image of the College through ensuring high standards of professionalism on the path of students and staffs
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships among staffs, students, the Board of Management and the community
• Motivates staffs and students to meet the expectations of the College through diligence, time management, community service and display of high levels of professionalism.
• Acts as a role model for staffs and students in terms of deportment, ongoing learning/professional development, professional behaviour, interpersonal relationships and discipline
• Serves as a member of the Board of Management
• Serves as Ex officio Member of all Committees of the College and the Board.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Proven leadership skills within the sector (TCJ, CCCJ)
• Computer Literate and technologically savvy
• Required to provide leadership for the College’s Strategic Plan
• Team oriented
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Ability to articulate the College’s vision and embody the mission
• Ability to foster and maintain good interpersonal relations and harmonious learning and working environment
• Ability to provide learner-centered leadership for both staff and students
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Qualifications:• Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Management or Administration
• A minimum of 5 years administrative experience at the Tertiary level
• Training in Supervisory Management with Business/ Finance Management experience
• Teacher training and over ten (10) years of teaching experience
